QRD SPARK N5 RGB LED Lighting Setup Guide
The QRD SPARK N5 controller includes customizable RGB lighting effects around the joysticks and button backlight areas. You can adjust the lighting mode directly with the SET button while the controller is powered on.
This guide explains how to switch RGB lighting modes, turn off the lighting effects, and troubleshoot abnormal LED behavior.

LED Lighting Control Instructions
Switch Lighting Modes
While the controller is powered on, press the SET button once to cycle through the available RGB lighting modes.
Available lighting modes include:
- Blue breathing mode
- Cyan blue breathing mode
- Purple breathing mode
- Yellow breathing mode
- Red breathing mode
- Orange breathing mode
- Green breathing mode
- White breathing mode
- Multicolor auto-cycle mode
The controller supports multiple single-color breathing effects and one automatic color-cycle effect.
Turn Off RGB Lighting
To turn off the RGB lighting effects:
- Press and hold the SET button for approximately 3 seconds.
This turns off the joystick and button-area RGB lighting effects.
Important note: Turning off RGB lighting does not turn off the front indicator light. The front indicator light is used for controller status and may remain active depending on the connection or charging state.
Lighting Memory Function
The QRD SPARK N5 saves the selected lighting mode automatically.
After the controller is powered off and turned on again, it will resume the previously selected lighting mode.
Common RGB LED Issues and Troubleshooting
LED Effects Are Not Working or Display Abnormally
If the RGB lighting does not work correctly, displays abnormal colors, or does not switch as expected, update the QRD SPARK N5 firmware using a PC and USB cable.
Use firmware V3.1.06 or newer if available.

- Make sure the controller is powered on.
- Confirm the controller is properly connected or paired.
- Press the SET button once to switch lighting modes.
- Press and hold the SET button for approximately 3 seconds to test whether the RGB lighting can be turned off.

Reset the Controller
If lighting control remains abnormal, use the hidden RESET button on the back of the controller.
- Press and hold the RESET button for approximately 3-5 seconds.
After resetting, power on the controller again and test the SET button.
