Tutorial: How to use QRD BlackPill PS5 wireless converter on PS5

(*Note: Do not press the "PAIR" button before inserting to the PS5/PC.)

STEP

on PS5

  • 1. Enter the System setting -> Accessories -> Controller(General) -> Communication Method
  • 2. Select the "Use USB Cable"

For BlackPill converter:

  • 3. Plug in the converter on one of the empty USB ports on PS5 console. The Indicator LED on the converter starts flashing slowly. (*Note: Do not press the "PAIR" button before inserting to the PS5/PC.)
  • 4. While The controller to be connected is turned off, press and hold PS and SHARE buttons on the PlayStation controller (Q and SHARE buttons for QRD Spark N5 and Maestro S3) until the light on the controller starts flashing indicating the controller is in pairing mode. 
  • 5. Press and hold PAIR button on the converter for 3 seconds. The converter will enter the pairing mode, indicator LED will flash faster until its paired with the controller.
  • After successful pairing indicator LED on the converter will be flashing slowly. The controller may turn off after pairing. Restarting the controller with PS or Q button will reconnect the controller. After the controller is paired once its not required to repeat pairing process again.
