QRD Junior E5 Firmware Version V1.02 Release:

Firmware V1.02 introduces an important new feature to improve joystick accuracy and reduce drift issues during gameplay.

✔ Added Manual Stick Calibration Mode
Helps reduce joystick drift and improve stick accuracy.

 

How to Perform Firmware Update

1. Download the V1.02 Firmware Updater from the QRD website.
2. Run the Updater, and do not connect the controller yet.
3. Ensure the controller is powered OFF, press and hold [A] button.
4. While holding [A], connect the controller to the PC using USB-C, then release [A].
5. The updater will automatically start flashing the firmware.

 

How to Enter Manual Stick Calibration Mode

Steps:

1. Make sure the controller is powered OFF

2. Press and hold D-Pad Down (⬇️)

3. While holding ⬇️, connect the controller to PC / Switch / PS4 via USB-C

4. When all 4 LEDs turn ON, calibration mode is active

5. Move both sticks in full circles several times

6. Disconnect the cable to save and exit

 

Use this mode if you experience:

• character drifting

• camera drifting

• inaccurate stick response
