If you want to manually recalibrate the joysticks, analog triggers, and gyroscope on your QRD SPARK N7, the controller includes a built-in manual calibration mode that can be operated directly from the controller - no additional software is required.

This guide explains how to enter Calibration Settings, disable Automatic Calibration, and correctly recalibrate the Left Stick (LS), Right Stick (RS), L2/R2 triggers, and 6-axis gyroscope.

Important: Automatic Calibration is enabled by default on the QRD SPARK N7. Manual calibration is required after Automatic Calibration has been turned off.

 

Before You Start

Before entering Manual Calibration Mode, make sure the controller is in standby mode:

• The controller must not be connected to a console, PC, or other host device.
• The controller's LED indicators should be off.
• The rear mode switch must not be in the OFF position.

The controller should therefore be powered down and waiting in standby while the mode switch remains set to either PC or PS.

 

Step 1: Enter Calibration Settings

While the controller is in standby mode:

Press and hold:

TURBO + OPTION + HOME

for approximately 3 seconds.

The HOME indicator will begin flashing, confirming that the controller has entered Calibration Settings.

Do not release the buttons too early. Wait until the HOME LED starts flashing before proceeding.

 

Step 2: Disable Automatic Calibration

The QRD SPARK N7 uses Automatic Calibration by default.

Once you have entered Calibration Settings, you can choose whether Automatic Calibration remains enabled or is disabled.

To keep Automatic Calibration enabled

Press the Square (□) button.

The controller will enable Automatic Calibration, exit Calibration Settings, and return to standby mode.

To enter Manual Calibration

Press the Cross (×) button.

This turns Automatic Calibration OFF and allows you to continue with the manual calibration procedure.

Important: Once Automatic Calibration has been disabled, complete all of the following calibration steps before using the controller normally.

 

Step 3: Calibrate the Left and Right Joysticks

Slowly rotate both analog sticks through their complete movement range.

Left Stick - LS

Rotate the Left Stick (LS) slowly around its full outer edge.

Make sure the stick reaches its maximum travel in every direction.

Complete at least:

3 full rotations

Right Stick - RS

Repeat the same process with the Right Stick (RS).

Again, move the stick slowly around the complete outer edge and make sure it reaches its full range.

Complete at least:

3 full rotations

Important

Do not make very fast or incomplete circles.

During calibration, each joystick should smoothly travel through its entire physical range so that the controller can correctly register its minimum and maximum positions.

 

Step 4: Calibrate the L2 and R2 Analog Triggers

After calibrating both joysticks, calibrate the analog triggers.

Slowly press:

L2 → fully down → release

Repeat at least 3 times.

Then slowly press:

R2 → fully down → release

Repeat at least 3 times.

Make sure each trigger reaches its full physical travel during every press.

After the LS, RS, L2, and R2 calibration has been completed successfully, the controller will briefly vibrate.

This vibration confirms that the joystick and trigger calibration stage has been completed and that you can proceed to gyroscope calibration.

 

Step 5: Calibrate the Gyroscope

Place the QRD SPARK N7 on a:

• Stable
• Flat
• Level
• Motionless surface

Do not hold, tilt, shake, or move the controller during this step.

Once the controller is completely stationary, press:

OPTION

The controller will begin calibrating its built-in motion sensor / gyroscope.

Keep the controller still until calibration is complete.

 

Step 6: Complete the Calibration

When the calibration process is successfully completed:

• The controller will vibrate.
• Calibration Mode will automatically close.
• The controller will return to standby mode.
• Manual Calibration will remain enabled.

The calibration process is now complete.

You can reconnect the controller to your PS4, PS3, PC, or other supported device and test the controls normally.
